Head of Wellbeing Services Director

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Wellbeing Services team, providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality psychological wellbeing interventions.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our Psychological Wellbeing Service and Open Door service, working closely with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) to develop preventative models of psychological support and expanding our wellbeing services offer nationally.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing specialist psychological oversight of therapy delivered to people using our Wellbeing Services
- Developing new models of wellbeing interventions and contributing to audit, research, policy, and service development
- Supervising and line-managing practitioners within our Wellbeing Services and Student Counsellors
- Developing and delivering training in psychological therapies for staff working within our rehabilitation services
- Working with the Associate Director of Development and Social Value to grow our wellbeing services offer across our geographical footprint
Candidates must have a professional qualification, such as a Registered Nurse Band 8a or above, or a professionally recognised qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Experience of leading the clinical response to senior leaders, board, and external commissioners is essential for this role.
Strong organisational and time management skills are required, as well as the ability to take risks, try new approaches, and continuously seek improvement.
