We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our infrastructure projects in Scotland.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating project activities, ensuring good communication and adherence to governance processes. They will drive exceptional delivery, health & safety, commercial, risk management, and quality performance on infrastructure projects throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project management discipline, including:
  2. Establishing overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  3. Identifying and ensuring that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
  4. Establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilised throughout the project.
  5. Project planning, including producing the detailed project plan.
  6. Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team.
  7. Monitoring and applying performance management techniques.
  8. Monitoring and advising upon project finances.
  9. Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
  10. Preparing formal project progress and other reports.
  11. Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
Requirements
  1. NEC accredited Project Manager.
  2. Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (Civil Engineering/Construction).
  3. Experience working on major Highways projects.
