About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Care Professional Lead to join our team at NHS South East London Integrated Care Board. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives across South East London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and shape the quality improvement support offer to meet the needs of local healthcare providers.
  • Support effective multi-professional working and best practice in quality improvement.
  • Provide expertise and leadership in shaping, delivering, and maintaining quality improvement support.
  • Inform the development and utilisation of quality improvement resources.
  • Understand and navigate systems and place-based challenges to inform an effective approach to facilitating quality improvement.
  • Inform and lead the delivery of education for frontline clinical staff.
  • Engage clinical leadership to inform, localise, and enhance quality improvement functions.
Requirements
  • Qualified care and/or clinical professional with a Master's degree or equivalent level of experience.
  • Experience of leading, managing, developing, influencing, and inspiring staff.
  • Experience of transformational/innovative service delivery, productivity, and/or transformation policy implementation.
  • Experience of undertaking staff appraisals, identifying professional development needs, and performance issues to support key result areas.
  • Experience of translating best-practice to inform quality improvement.
  • Experience of working with South East London primary care teams in a quality improvement capacity.
  • Significant experience of providing peer-to-peer support to reduce variation of care.
  • Ability to undertake at least one clinical session of work per month in South East London general practice.

  • Ability to analyse numerical and written data, assess options, and draw appropriate conclusions.
  • Able to identify priorities and dependencies in complex situations.
  • A collaborative management style, which recognises and values personal contributions and agenda, and encourages team working.
  • Able to plan, lead, and chair meetings with multi-professional colleagues.
  • Sets/leads strategic direction in consultation and partnership with stakeholders.
  • Champions the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion both within and outside of the organisation.
