Key Responsibilities- Support the site management team in developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop safe systems of work to mitigate potential hazards.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of their health, safety, and environmental responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the site management team to develop and implement environmental management systems, including ISO 14001.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry associations, to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- University degree in a relevant field, such as health, safety, and environmental management.
- Minimum NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
