We are seeking a skilled Legal Executive/Solicitor to join our team as an Adult Social Care Lawyer. This role will involve providing legal advice to our Adult Social Care service, managing a diverse caseload, and handling Court of Protection proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice to the local authority's Adult Social Care service on matters related to adult social care law and mental health law.
  • Manage a caseload of Adult Social Care files, ensuring timely and effective resolution of cases.
  • Represent the client department at case-related meetings and conduct advocacy in court as necessary.
  • Adhere to the Legal Services Unit's quality standards, including time-recording and maintaining professional standards.
  • Handle confidential data sensitively and securely in accordance with policy.
Requirements:
  • Strong legal knowledge in adult social care and mental health law.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Interest in public sector work and supporting vulnerable members of the community.
