Job Title: Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at the Dolphin Centre in Poole. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Patrol and monitor premises and personnel to prevent and detect security breaches.
  • Provide a security contact for customers and staff, and respond to incidents in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive image of the Dolphin Centre.
  • Deter anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activity, and liaise with the Police and management as required.
  • Complete reports and maintain accurate records of incidents and security activities.
Requirements:
  • SG or DS licence is essential, and CCTV experience is desirable.
  • A full five-year checkable employment/education history is required.
  • Experience in corporate/retail security and customer service is desirable.
  • Good organisational skills, excellent communication skills, and basic knowledge of MS Office are essential.
  • Valid First Aid at Work certificate is desirable.
