Security Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team in Poole. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our colleagues and customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Observe and report any incidents in store, ensuring a swift and effective response to maintain a safe environment.
- Monitor CCTV footage, adhering to company policies and procedures to prevent and detect potential security threats.
- Adhere to and enforce Health & Safety guidelines, promoting a culture of safety and well-being within the store.
- Conduct internal investigations into stock loss, fraud, and theft, working closely with the Store Management Team to identify and address security risks.
- The ability to remain calm and composed in pressured situations, following instructions and making sound decisions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure seamless collaboration with colleagues and management.
- The ability to deal with challenging customers in a professional and respectful manner, upholding the highest standards of customer service.
- A balanced sense of judgment, strong work ethics, honesty, and integrity, reflecting the values of B&M Retail.
