About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues and conduct in-depth research to find the best technical solutions.
- Manage and maintain IT hardware and software inventory, including ordering and procuring equipment and maintaining vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with business units and partner on projects to drive business growth and success.
- Manage SaaS accounts with a focus on security and cost evaluations.
- Provide technical support to a global workforce, partnering with overseas IT teams and employees.
- Analyze existing processes and suggest improvements, implementing business processes where necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT, including macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android devices.
- Manage AV hardware and software, including Zoom and other video conferencing software.
- Develop a strong understanding of networking concepts, including switching, firewalls, subnetting, wireless technologies, VPNs, LAN/WAN, etc.
- Be flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work outside of regular hours to ensure the success of the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Familiarity with programming languages, such as Python.
- Experience with HPE/Aruba and Palo Alto networking hardware.
- Prior experience in IT, help desk, or customer service, particularly in an early-stage startup.
