We are seeking a compassionate and skilled nurse to provide daily care for babies, children, and young people (ages 0-18) with a wide range of acute and chronic physical and mental health conditions, including end-of-life care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centred care to patients, parents, carers, and families.
  • Engage with the unit's multidisciplinary approach to care, ensuring that patients are fully involved in their care journey.
  • Lead and work within a team, providing strong clinical and managerial leadership.
  • Empower staff to deliver high-quality care, guiding the team in the absence of senior colleagues.
About the Role

This role involves working on a 24-bed paediatric ward, supporting children with long-term conditions as they transition into adult services. You will work closely with a small but active outpatient department, home to a dedicated and diverse team of specialists.

Requirements
  • RSCN/RN Child qualification.
  • Diploma/working or willing to work towards degree level.
  • Evidence of supervisory and mentoring skills.
  • Able to lead and work within a team.
