Role Overview

The position of Field Service Engineer demands a highly skilled professional to conduct service operations on busbar systems at client locations. The Engineer will engage directly with quality assurance teams, end users, contractors, and sales personnel to guarantee that all products on-site are operating correctly and are thoroughly tested before system activation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage service appointments with end users and contractors.
  • Support the Sales team in preparing service quotes and providing insights on available service options.
  • Offer Project Management assistance for installation processes.
  • Implement a System Startup checklist during visits to client sites.
  • Complete a startup certification report and a meter commissioning report, utilizing provided templates to input necessary data.
  • Travel to client locations to deliver installation training sessions, incorporating both PowerPoint presentations and practical demonstrations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Current experience as a field service technician.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in field service roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Strong knowledge of busbar systems.
