We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Export Agent to join our team at Expeditors. As an Export Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing export bookings, and ensuring timely and accurate execution of shipments.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Communicate with customers to execute export bookings, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Export Documentation: Prepare and process export documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and delivery.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and company policies, including customs clearance, export controls, and trade agreements.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Education: Minimum tertiary educational level
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in export logistics, trade, or a related field
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Language: Fluent in English
- Work Environment: Normal physical effort required, with intermittent walking, sitting, or standing
- Working Hours: Standard working hours, with occasional overtime as required
