Data Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Officer to join our Governance teams at Hospiscare, a leading hospice in Devon. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our information and ensuring compliance with information management legislation and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a range of Data Protection and Security processes and protocols to ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities.
- Produce the annual Data Protection and Security Toolkit submission.
- Advise staff across the organisations and deliver training in relation to Data Protection and Security and GDPR.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of data protection legislation, cyber security principles, and risk management.
