Data Centre Safety Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to contribute to our safety operations in London. This role will play a vital part in ensuring a secure and compliant environment for all personnel within our data centre facilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive guidance, training, and instruction to company staff on established safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to maintain and elevate safety standards across all operations.
- Coordinate closely with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve shared safety objectives.
- Focus on enhancing safety protocols within both operational and construction environments, particularly for ongoing data centre builds in London.
About You
You possess a strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices. Your excellent communication skills enable you to convey information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. You thrive in collaborative environments and are adept at building relationships with diverse teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional auditing qualification or similar credentials in risk/compliance.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel.
- Experience in defining program requirements and leveraging data/metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
