French Speaking Director of Audit and Accounts

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced French speaking Director of Audit and Accounts to join our team at The Language Business. As a key member of our accounting and auditing department, you will be responsible for leading accounting and auditing services for both English and French speaking clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Reviewing and approving accounts and audit reports
- Providing technical advice to clients and staff on accounting and auditing matters and keeping abreast of the latest developments and changes
- Developing and maintaining a network of contacts and referrals in the French speaking market and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Leading, coaching and mentoring staff and providing them with feedback and support for their professional development and career progression
- Contributing to the development and implementation of accounting and auditing policies, procedures and standards, and ensuring that they are adhered to
- Fluency in French (written and spoken) is essential
- Extensive experience in accounting and auditing in a senior or managerial role with exposure to the French speaking market
- ACCA, ACA, CPA qualified or equivalent
- Familiarity with the French accounting and auditing standards and regulations
- Highly professional and ethical, and committed to delivering quality and excellence
- Flexible and adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Starting salary of £95,000 - £110,000 pa depending on experience and skills

- Annual discretionary bonus (typically 2-10% of salary)
