SEN Support EYFS Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Support EYFS to join our team at a welcoming and diverse primary school in Northampton. As a SEN Support EYFS, you will provide 1:1 support for children with SEMH and ASC needs, fostering their potential and creating an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to children with SEMH and ASC needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months experience working with SEN children in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and ability to manage challenging behavior
  • Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
