You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers and support staff to ensure that our clients receive a consistent, high-quality service. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and delivering innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, both in the UK and internationally. You will be responsible for leading the development of initial strategic concepts for projects, ensuring that solutions are appropriate for the brief and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality mechanical designs for data center, mission-critical, and healthcare projects
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that our clients receive a consistent, high-quality service
  • Lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects, ensuring that solutions are appropriate for the brief and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients
  • Take responsibility for solid technical delivery in your work, either alone or as part of a team

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Building Services Engineering
  • Prior experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Comfortable designing mechanical engineering systems and leading the mechanical service design on projects
  • Proficient in computer modeling design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM
  • Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team and coming together to achieve the same outcome and project objectives
  • Background in working throughout the stages of the project lifecycle, from conception to launch
  • Committed to engaging with junior support staff in their day-to-day activities and offering advice and guidance to ensure that they develop their skills
