As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be required to design and develop conceptual and detailed solutions to the agreed specifications, budgets, and schedules. You will also be involved in the verification and validation of machine design, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, involvement in the development work on all the machines, value engineering, create clear and accurate BOMs, documentation to support solutions such as assembly drawings and manual appendices.

What we would like from the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer:

A degree in a mechanically biased subject such as Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering

A minimum of 10 years of experience in design within an industrial company manufacturing machinery, ideally within the packaging industry

Experience using 3D design software (ideally SolidWorks)

24 days annual leave + bank holidays

Full Sick Pay

Pension 5%
