Become a part of the Royal Opera House as an Independent Educational Consultant for the National Schools Initiative. Engage in a mission to foster creativity among children and young individuals through the mediums of music, dance, and design, while highlighting the remarkable artistry of the Royal Opera House.
In this role, you will be tasked with connecting with primary educational institutions in designated regions, delivering the Create & Dance, Create & Sing, and Create & Design programs at no cost to the schools.
We are looking for passionate individuals who are dedicated to enhancing creative and cultural education in primary settings to broaden the impact of the ROH National Schools Initiative. Key responsibilities include:
- Local School Engagement: Establish connections with publicly funded primary schools in the specified regions.
- Collaboration Development: Work alongside local entities and the National Schools Partnerships Manager.
- Strategic Development: Assist in shaping the future and sustainability of the partnership.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust network within local primary schools, relevant experience in education or the creative sectors, and relationships with key figures in creative education. Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency in relationship-building with diverse stakeholders are essential.
