Become a vital part of the Royal Opera House as an Independent Educational Consultant for the National Schools Initiative. Engage in a rewarding endeavor aimed at fostering creativity among children and youth through the arts, particularly in music, dance, and design, while highlighting the remarkable talent of the Royal Opera House.
In this role, you will be tasked with collaborating with primary educational institutions in designated regions, facilitating the Create & Dance, Create & Sing, and Create & Design programs at no cost to the schools.
We are looking for passionate individuals who are dedicated to enhancing creative and cultural education in primary settings to broaden the impact of the ROH National Schools Initiative. Key responsibilities include:
- School Engagement: Establish connections with state-funded primary institutions in the specified regions.
- Collaboration Development: Work alongside local entities and the National Schools Partnerships Manager.
- Future Planning: Contribute to the strategic direction and sustainability of the partnership.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust network within local primary schools, experience in the educational or creative sectors, and relationships with key figures in creative education. Strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a talent for relationship-building with diverse stakeholders are essential.
