About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Cashier to join our team at GGB - Global. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for investigating and allocating high volume, high value bank receipts on client accounts on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and resolve all unallocated cash queries set within agreed service level agreement (SLA).
  • Provide management information to key stakeholders on status of unallocated cash.
  • Familiarity with all processes between teams to deliver customer excellence.
  • Liaise with key business area contacts to ensure communication channels are open & effective.
  • Liaise with counterpart in offshore team to ensure allocations are achieved within SLA.
  • Highlight any issues with Team Leader.
  • Attend stakeholder meetings as required and present unallocated cash pertaining to their branch.
  • Processing Bank Refunds weekly ensuring attention to detail and compliance.
  • Deal with Internal/External auditors as and when required.
Requirements
  • Previous finance experience of working with high volume data, in fast paced environment is ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Professional in manner and presentation.
  • Sound customer service skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Analytical problem solving approach.
  • Takes initiative has a 'can do' attitude.
  • Results driven.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
