Fife College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer/Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our students receive high-quality training and assessment in vocational qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training, advice, and support to students to ensure they obtain the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience relevant to vocational qualifications.
  • Carry out fair, safe, and reliable assessments of students' skills and knowledge, adhering to Fife College policies and those of the Awarding body.
  • Work in partnership with the delivery team and liaise with employers as appropriate to ensure students are undertaking the correct pathway and appropriate level of vocational or industry qualification.
  • Prepare and deliver learning activities using a variety of methods, including blended learning, which are contextualized to working environments and support the development of knowledge and skills.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and contextualized training to support business development.

Requirements:

  • Qualification to the highest appropriate level in the vocational area.
  • Holding the necessary Assessor/Verifier awards.
  • Relevant and recent industry/work-based experience.
  • Clear understanding of vocational qualifications and quality frameworks.
