Our Net Zero Energy division, part of our Nuclear and Clean Power sector, engages in diverse projects including offshore wind, energy storage solutions, and green hydrogen.
Our unit provides a dynamic range of tasks, from initial feasibility assessments to comprehensive design, site evaluations, and verification processes. We are currently executing various projects, such as hydrogen generation, gas storage, battery systems, and industrial decarbonization efforts, alongside additional design and evaluation tasks related to hydroelectric projects.

Your Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing, developing, and mentoring team members.
- Leading the technical components of civil/structural engineering projects across various design phases, from concept development to detailed engineering.
- Estimating project costs and preparing technical proposals.
- Conducting condition and structural assessments of existing infrastructures to evaluate their suitability for continued use.
- Coordinating design efforts across multidisciplinary teams.
- Drafting specifications and scoping documents.

In addition to possessing strong communication and leadership abilities, the ideal candidate will have:
- A Master's degree (MEng/MSc) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status and membership in ICE or IStructE is preferred.
- A robust technical foundation, with experience in steel and reinforced concrete design in accordance with relevant UK and international standards.
