About the Organization

Our organization is a prominent Agribusiness Private Equity Fund seeking to recruit a Senior Finance Associate/Controller to enhance our streamlined London team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to become part of a distinguished firm with a remarkable history and a diverse range of responsibilities. The selected candidate will engage in fund management, oversight of holding structures, and portfolio assessment, alongside various financial tasks and support for transaction execution. Key Responsibilities
  • Fund operations - quarterly reporting, audits, valuations, treasury management, insurance, corporate governance, and investor relations
  • Oversee daily management of advisors (accounting, tax, fund administration, insurance brokers, etc.) to ensure timely completion of all compliance filings at the group level
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to standardize and automate financial processes, enhancing the operational efficiency of the organization
  • Management of portfolio entities: analyze and monitor the performance of portfolio companies and propose operational enhancements (policies, procedures, processes, technology, etc.) as necessary
  • Support in transaction execution and financing: assist the lead partner in all related aspects
  • Contribute to financial modeling, due diligence, structuring, financing, and the closing process
Candidate Profile
  • Degree from a reputable institution in finance or a quantitative discipline, with relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, ideally with a recognized accounting qualification
  • Strong academic background with excellent analytical capabilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with strong modeling and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Capacity to manage significant independent workstreams and relationships central to the operations of a private equity firm
