Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Engineering Manager to join our team at Montgomery Transport Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our fleet, including maintenance, repairs, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the maintenance budget for the fleet, including R&M contracts and vendor service levels.
  • Oversee new project work and ensure that new equipment is delivered on time, compliant, and to specification.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key accounts, service partners, and vendors.
  • Travel to meet with vendors and customers to discuss service levels, repairs, and work orders.
  • Work with national accounts at director level to understand customer needs and implement solutions across a network of service providers.

Requirements:

  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
  • Confident hosting meetings with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven knowledge of fleet compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Highly organized and a great communicator.
  • Previous experience in fleet, workshop operations, and/or engineering is essential.
  • Previous experience with ADR is desirable.
