Portering Team Leader

The Portering and Post Room Services department at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a talented and experienced Team Leader to deliver an exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team to provide an efficient and patient-focused portering service across the Trust.
Main Responsibilities- Lead a team of porters to ensure the efficient movement of patients, samples, and medical records across the Trust.
- Support and direct staff in the Portering and Post Room Services department to achieve high standards of customer service.
- Work alongside staff at operational level to ensure the smooth running of the portering service.
- Maximize the performance and productivity of the team in line with Trust expectations.
- Support the development and training of staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Significant experience dealing with the public in a diverse, fast-moving, customer-oriented organization.
- Full UK driving license.
- Minimum of one year's experience of leading a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to assess, instruct, and train staff.
- Ability to work on own initiative in decision-making.
- Good leadership skills.
- IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
