Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our customers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to customers, including administering medication, wound care, and personal hygiene support.
  • Lead a team of support staff, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the shift.
  • Develop and implement Person Centred Plans, ensuring the needs of our customers are met within a safe and caring environment.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments, observing any changes in health and well-being, and ensure that records are maintained in a timely way.
  • Support customers with physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.

Requirements:

  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
  • An understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
  • Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
  • Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
