Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Export Transport Operator to join our Road Freight team at HR GO Recruitment. As an Export Transport Operator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the export of goods from the UK to Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the export of groupage cargo, including FCL and LCL shipments
  • Source and negotiate with hauliers to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions
  • Collaborate with overseas offices and colleagues to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • Manage customs clearance and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Communicate with drivers and hauliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Prepare and instruct documentation for customs clearance and warehouse loading

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in export logistics and transportation planning
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of transportation management systems

Working Hours:

This is an office-based role, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Due to the location, you will need to be a driver and have access to a vehicle.
