Job Summary:

Job&Talent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Supervisor to join our team in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and direction to junior chefs and kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management: Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Team Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, providing training and support to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with staff, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in kitchen management software and other relevant systems.
