UK Payroll Reporting and Reconciliation Specialist

At Bank of America, we are committed to delivering exceptional payroll services to our employees across the EMEA region. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Reporting and Reconciliation Consultant to join our team in Chester.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, statutory reporting, and compliance with relevant tax and labor laws. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Collate, process, and reconcile payroll-related transactions to ensure accurate and timely payments to employees, government agencies, and third-party providers.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting deadlines and maintain accurate records.
- Provide payroll-related support to employees and other stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and Compensation teams.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in payroll processing.
- Collaborate with the EMEA Payroll Team to drive process improvements and ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Knowledge of payroll accounting and finance principles, including tax and labor laws.
