We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our client's team in Leicester. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for managing and developing supplier relationships to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement effective procurement strategies to drive business growth and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations and meet business objectives.
- Manage purchasing budgets and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with company and industry regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and prices.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of supplier or third-party management software.
- Ability to gather and analyze data to inform procurement decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with suppliers.
- Desirable to have bi-lingual skills.
