Job Title: Private Duty Nurse LPN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LPN to join our team at Quality Talent Group. As a Private Duty Nurse LPN, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including private homes and healthcare facilities.

Job Summary:

The Private Duty Nurse LPN is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, in collaboration with the patient's healthcare team.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and document findings in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
Work Environment:

The Private Duty Nurse LPN will work in a variety of settings, including private homes and healthcare facilities. The work environment may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions.
