About the Role:
As a key member of the Acro Service Corp team, the Production Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first-line support to all areas of Supply Chain and Customer Services, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
• Review and approve Design and Assembly drawings, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Translate design information from drawings into SAP Material Master Data, Bills of Materials, and Routings, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
• Prepare assembly instruction documents detailing the production process from design drawings and initial production builds, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Lead the resolution of technical issues, material, tooling, and instructions to all Production and Warehouse areas, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
• Collaborate with the Reliability team to support Facilities activities, including issue resolution and updating site layouts/P&ID's (on AutoCAD or equivalent).
• Promote and lead by example on all aspects of safety, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
• Conduct risk assessments and reviews of safety in all SOPs, projects, and day-to-day support of the plant, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements:
• At least 3 years' experience in Production, process, industrial engineering function, with a strong background in TPM / Lean principles and analysis of production processes.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, including BOMs, Routings, and Master Data, as well as experience with SAP, DDM (Design Data Manager), eQMS, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of NPI and gated processes, with the ability to compile shop floor process instructions and safe working procedures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and present data to various stakeholders.
• Ability to work under own initiative, with a high standard of numeracy and literacy, and a willingness to be flexible with working hours/shift at short notice.
Preferred Qualifications:
• NVQ level 4, HNC or equivalent in Electromechanical engineering, with experience in CAPA and root cause analysis.
• World Class manufacturing and TPM experience, with a strong understanding of lean principles and the ability to lead by example on all aspects of safety.
