About the Role
As a Programme Director, you will lead a mission-critical, high-profile, and complex programme with change and transformational elements. Leveraging your skills in project delivery and leadership, you will oversee a multi-disciplinary team to deliver systems for the UK's national deterrent platform, the Dreadnought class submarine.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a large team to deliver large and technically complex equipment/system contracts.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the programme team, prioritizing to meet delivery commitments and financial goals.
- Attend senior stakeholder meetings with Babcock leadership, Commercial, and MoD customers.
- Develop and implement strategies for the programme team.
- Manage timelines and deliverables.
Requirements
- Strong Project and Programme Management knowledge.
- Experienced in delivering complex programmes.
- Hold a project management qualification such as APM PMQ, ChPP or equivalent.
