Job Title: Home Care Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and companionship to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with clients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Support clients with meal preparation, household chores, and other tasks as needed.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transportation, ensuring their safety and independence.
  • Document client progress and report any concerns or changes to the care team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care or a related field is an asset, but not required.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a caring attitude are essential.
  • Valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
