Key Responsibilities of the Procurement Administrator include:

  • Monitoring orders placed and ensuring delivery is completed according to timescales agreed
  • Inventory management and housekeeping
  • Utilising Microsoft and ERP/MRP systems to analyse and report data
  • Providing additional support to the Purchasing Department as required, including planning of purchase orders, monitoring stock availability, and setting up new products in the system
  • Ensuring all database information is accurate in relation to all lead/review times by supplier
  • Forecast planning and management
  • Managing supplier queries and complaints as required

Requirements for the Procurement Administrator:

  • Previous experience working in an administrative/purchasing/procurement role
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels and competence in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
  • IT proficiency with knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft programmes for data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Experience with logistics and freight

Salary:

Up to £25,000

On-site presence required

This role will be well-suited to individuals with experience in purchasing or procurement roles, such as Junior Buyer, Procurement Coordinator, Procurement Officer, or Purchasing Assistant.
