Job Opportunity at Gleeson Homes

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Apprentice to join our team at Gleeson Homes. As a Technical Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Technical Department, working closely with our construction management team to ensure the smooth delivery of our new homes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Technical Department
    • Support the day-to-day running of the Technical Function, including assisting with solving site construction and sales queries.
    • Assist with drawing and document management, including updating systems, printing, and distributing information.
    • Perform administration duties, including creating word documents, spreadsheets, collating data, contacting consultants, filing, and working with technical drawings.
    • Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas and supporting information.
    • Register new products with the Building Control Body and maintain records.
    • Liaise with external consultants, local authorities, and utility companies.
    • Assist with the tender process and commercial analysis.
  • Education and Training
    • Attend a local College to obtain a Level 3 in Construction and the Built Environment.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Must have a minimum Grade C GCSE, or equivalent, in Maths and English.
  • Be prepared to travel to the office and development sites.
  • Experience in using AutoCAD / Revit is preferred, although training will be provided.
