Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our Real Estate team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) specific deliverables within large projects or direct MEP commissions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management services across the full project lifecycle, with a strong understanding of MEP systems and supply chain management.

You will be responsible for establishing early budgets, estimating, and cost planning, managing design teams, tendering, and procurement, as well as post-contract reporting to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on MEP specific deliverables within large projects or direct MEP commissions
  • Establish early budgets, estimating, and cost planning
  • Manage design teams, tendering, and procurement
  • Post-contract reporting to clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
Requirements
  • Professionally qualified (RICS or similar) or working towards
  • Degree or HNC level qualification
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management services
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and supply chain management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
