Job Title: Asset Management Modelling Team Lead

Severn Trent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Management Modelling Team Lead to join our Chief Engineer's Asset Intelligence and Innovation team. As a key member of our Data Science and Modelling function, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading a new team of modellers to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and shape our modelling strategy to enhance decision-making across the organisation
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
  • Lead a team of modellers to deliver high-quality results at pace, adapting to emerging demands and reprioritising tasks as needed
  • Work closely with various teams to understand their needs and deliver tailored, high-impact solutions
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading a modelling team is desirable
  • Strong understanding of waste networks and systems, with experience in waste hydraulic modelling
  • Ability to think outside the box to develop novel solutions and drive innovative projects to successful completion
  • Experience with or an understanding of data science, AI, and ML concepts is highly beneficial
