Contract Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Officer to join our team at IOSH, a leading institution for safety and health professionals. As a key member of our Contracts and Procurement team, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of contracts, ensuring compliance and precision in your work.
As a Contracts Officer, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts for both suppliers and customers, safeguarding our interests and fostering collaborative working relationships. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure seamless contract management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of contracts, including drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts for suppliers and customers.
- Ensure compliance with contract law and regulations, maintaining high-quality, compliant, and fair contracts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure effective contract management.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest contract law and regulations, applying this knowledge to ensure compliance and precision in your work.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of commercial contract law and contract management principles.
- Proven experience working in a Contracts Officer role or similar position, with expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual terms and conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Organized and methodical approach to work, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
