Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement and Supply Chain professional to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment. As a key member of our purchasing team, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and establishing relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:- Procurement: Source and purchase materials, components, and services to meet business needs.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Order Processing: Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Previous relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Excellent relationship building skills and IT proficiency.
- Lunchtime finish on Fridays.
