Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and establishing relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Procurement: Source and purchase materials, components, etc.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Order Processing: Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
Requirements:
- Previous Relevant Experience: Previous experience in procurement or a related field is required.
- I.T. Proficiency: Proficiency in I.T. systems and tools is essential.
- Excellent Relationship Building Skills: Excellent relationship building skills are required to establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
