Job Description

Campden BRI is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Regulatory Affairs team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and extending our expertise in food legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and extend a high level of awareness of current food legislation, related issues, and likely developments in the EU and Spanish-speaking countries.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on the content, application, and interpretation of food regulations.
  • Develop and contribute to Regulatory publications and training events.
  • Initiate new business opportunities and deliver contract services on time and within budget.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of research projects.
  • Recommend and implement changes in services, products, and systems.
Requirements:
  • Graduate-level qualification(s) in food science or related subjects.
  • Proven experience/knowledge of food law acquired in a commercial, enforcement, or policy setting.
  • Ability to manage projects with deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience of customer service and interaction with clients would be advantageous.
  • Language skills – Fluency in Spanish and English and the ability to read and interpret food law in Spanish-speaking countries.
  • Additional languages would be an advantage, such as Portuguese and/or Italian.
