Campden BRI is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Regulatory Affairs team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and extending our expertise in food legislation and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and extend a high level of awareness of current food legislation, related issues, and likely developments in the EU and Spanish-speaking countries.
- Provide expert advice to clients on the content, application, and interpretation of food regulations.
- Develop and contribute to Regulatory publications and training events.
- Initiate new business opportunities and deliver contract services on time and within budget.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of research projects.
- Recommend and implement changes in services, products, and systems.
- Graduate-level qualification(s) in food science or related subjects.
- Proven experience/knowledge of food law acquired in a commercial, enforcement, or policy setting.
- Ability to manage projects with deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience of customer service and interaction with clients would be advantageous.
- Language skills – Fluency in Spanish and English and the ability to read and interpret food law in Spanish-speaking countries.
- Additional languages would be an advantage, such as Portuguese and/or Italian.
