Empower Family Group is seeking a dedicated and driven individual to join our team as a Supported Living Deputy Manager Trainee. This exciting opportunity offers a fast track to leadership within our organization, providing invaluable experience in the field of supported living.
As a Supported Living Deputy Manager Trainee, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and development of young people aged 16 years and over accessing our Supported Living service. You will work closely with the Outreach and Supported Living Manager and Director to provide a stable, structured, and therapeutic environment that fosters independence and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the manager in implementing care plans tailored to individual needs, promoting communication, independence, and personal development.
- Assist young people in developing essential life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and social interaction.
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all residents.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the overall positive atmosphere within the Supported Living service.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Full driving license
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare
- Desirable NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management
- Experience of being a Children's Residential Support Worker or senior post holder seeking career advancement
- Desirable experience in supervising a team.
