Job Title: Senior Azure Platform Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Platform Engineering team at Cloud Decisions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, collaborating with architects, creating expert documentation, ensuring security and compliance, and driving CI/CD processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM
  • Collaborate with the Cloud Solution Architect team to define new business/service requirements and translate them into deployable Azure solutions
  • Create clear, understandable documentation for various audiences
  • Implement centralized controls to streamline adherence to organizational standards and best practices
  • Automate deployments and provide end-to-end testing of developed components

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in IaC tools, with demonstrable skills in Terraform
  • Understanding of ARM and Bicep is a bonus
  • 5+ years in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role, with knowledge of GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps
  • Scripting skills in at least one scripting language (PowerShell preferred, but Go, Bash, and Python are also beneficial)
  • Cloud infrastructure knowledge, with familiarity in role-based access control and governance constructs
  • Containerization understanding, with experience in Kubernetes, Docker, AKS, Container Apps, and Container Instances
