About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing defence infrastructure projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead successful project outcomes through effective management and collaboration with stakeholders
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and risk management
  • Manage NEC 3/4 contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating variances and risks
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, including financial performance and progress updates
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and standards
  • Establish and maintain governance structures, defining clear roles and responsibilities
  • Develop and disseminate stakeholder management and communications plans
About You
  • Proven experience working on defence infrastructure projects, with a strong track record of delivering successful outcomes
  • Accreditation in PMQ and NEC 3/4 is preferred, but not essential
  • Security clearance is preferred, but suitability for clearance will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage meetings with senior client representatives
  • Collaborative approach, with experience of managing large technical teams
  • Proven ability to deliver to deadlines, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Good practical application of Microsoft software, including Project, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to prepare and implement a range of project tools, including programmes, risk registers, and quality assurance plans
