We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Education team at Aspris Children's Services. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and other related conditions/needs.
Key Responsibilities- Support the class teacher in delivering educational activities and promoting student engagement
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized learning plans
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with the teaching team to identify and address student needs, and develop strategies to support student progress
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and organized learning environment
- Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEMH and other related conditions/needs
- Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant field, such as education or child development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment
