We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our client, a leading food manufacturing company, in a strategic sourcing role. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of capital expenditure projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for capital expenditure projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead the sourcing and negotiation of contracts with suppliers for equipment, machinery, and services related to capital projects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery of procurement solutions.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements related to capital procurement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience within indirect procurement – with exposure to Capex projects being preferred.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
- Minimum of 3 years' end to end procurement experience
