The Workshop is seeking a talented Social Media Manager to enhance our digital presence and engage with our audience effectively.
This role requires you to be within a reasonable commuting distance, as in-office attendance will be necessary three days a week.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of our marketing team, you will report to the Senior Brand Marketing Manager and will be responsible for:
- Leading the formulation and implementation of a comprehensive global social media strategy that aligns with our brand ethos and business objectives across major platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
- Identifying target demographics for each social channel and customizing content strategies to effectively engage these audiences in line with our business and branding goals.
- Collaborating with the Senior Brand Marketing Manager to create a content calendar that synchronizes with marketing initiatives, product launches, and relevant seasonal trends.
- Working alongside our internal Creative Team to ensure the production of high-quality, engaging, and brand-consistent content across all social media platforms, including video content and Reels.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with key content creators, influencers, brand ambassadors, and strategic partners.
- Overseeing campaigns and collaborations with content creators to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
- Coordinating with Paid Social and Affiliate channel managers to ensure a cohesive strategy.
- Building and maintaining a vibrant online community by actively engaging with followers, responding to inquiries, and addressing comments.
- Partnering with external PR agencies to develop and execute a clear public relations strategy, including a calendar of live press and influencer events.
- Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on social media performance to inform future strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience in social media marketing, complemented by a wealth of creative ideas.
- A deep passion for social media channels and a comprehensive understanding of the unique characteristics of each platform.
- Proven track record in developing and executing brand social media and influencer strategies within budget and timelines.
- Experience in public relations, effectively translating brand messaging into engaging print, digital, and live event formats.
- Demonstrated ability in content creation across social platforms, including Reels and videos, with a willingness to appear on camera when necessary.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and generate insightful reports.
- Excellent teamwork abilities, fostering cross-functional collaboration and building strong internal and external relationships.
- Outstanding people management skills, with the ability to lead a team with enthusiasm and direction.
Monday to Friday - 35 hours per week
Salary£35,000 - £40,000
