Senior Internal Audit Manager

The Very Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Audit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Audit function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our risk management and governance processes.
Key Responsibilities- Support the formulation and delivery of the Group Internal Audit strategy.
- Provide input into the audit plan and methodology.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Manage the delivery of the Audit Plan to agreed timescales and standards.
- Track and report on the implementation of actions agreed in audits.
- Support the Group Head of Internal Audit in the management of cosource partners.
- Deputise for the Group Head of Internal Audit at key committees as required.
- Recruit and develop Internal Auditors.
- You will be a qualified auditor or accountant with recent experience operating in a complex, commercial organisation.
- You will have strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- You'll possess a high level of integrity and be able to challenge upwards and cross-functionally.
- You'll be resilient, highly flexible, and self-motivated.
- You'll be commercial in your outlook and able to see the impact from a variety of standpoints.
- You will be technically excellent with the intellectual capacity to deal with complexity and communicate complex matters in simple terms.
- Demonstrable organisational skills and experience of managing a team of Auditors.
