Cover Supervisor Position

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in Margate, Kent. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain classroom experience or considering a career in teaching.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring a smooth transition for students.
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment, promoting student engagement and motivation.
- Support students with their learning, providing guidance and feedback to ensure work is completed to the best of their ability.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, upholding the highest standards of discipline and respect.
- Liaise with teaching staff to report on student progress, providing valuable insights and feedback.
- Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential. A passion for working with young people and a flexible approach to work are essential.
- Strong communication and organisational skills are required to manage the demands of this role.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and possession of a DBS (or willingness to obtain one) are necessary.
